The Radiation Oncology Curriculum is a comprehensive training
program that provides users with in-depth information on radiation oncology
procedures. Each course targets a specific area that requires proficiency

The Curriculum includes dedicated courses for the major types of radiation
therapy, including External Beam Radiation Therapy, Intensity Modulated

The Coding Metrix Evaluation and Management Curriculum is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare users to accurately assign procedure codes for evaluation and management (E/M) services.
The curriculum begins with an Overview course that provides users with an orientation to the Curriculum. This is followed by the Evaluation and Management Principles course, which teaches the fundamental concepts of coding and documentation for E/M services, including procedures for assigning the E/M level based on physician documentation. The other courses in the Curriculum focus on specific types of E/M services, including Physician Office Services, Physician Hospital Services, Preventive Services, and Critical Care and Emergency Services. Each of these courses will review the documentation and coding guidelines for the individual categories of E/M service and will discuss specific reimbursement issues such as coverage restrictions, bundling, modifier use, etc.

The Coding Metrix Diagnostic Radiology Curriculum is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare users to accurately assign procedure and diagnosis codes for diagnostic radiology services.
The curriculum begins with an overview course that will familiarize users with imaging modalities and basic diagnostic radiology coding conventions. Subsequent courses will cover coding guidelines for the various imaging modalities, including plain films, ultrasound, CT/CTA, MRI/MRA, PET, nuclear medicine, and breast procedures. Each of these courses will explain the commonly performed exams, review the coding guidelines, and discuss specific reimbursement issues such as coverage restrictions, bundling, modifier use, etc. The Radiology Compliance course will cover basic compliance issues related to diagnostic radiology, including physician orders, physician supervision, Correct Coding Initiative edits, etc. The ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Coding course will review ICD-9 coding guidelines specific to diagnostic radiology procedures.

The Invasive Cardiology Curriculum is a comprehensive training program that provides users with in-depth information on the most frequently performed invasive cardiology procedures. Each Course targets a specific area that requires proficiency to ensure accurate procedure coding. The user begins with the Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions courses. These courses cover the coding guidelines for traditional diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiology procedures. Cardiac anatomy is reviewed in detail, and procedure techniques are explained.
